창덕궁 인정전 내부

창덕궁은 1405년 지어진 조선의 궁궐로, 자연 지형을 살린 배치가 아름다워 1997년 유네스코 세계유산에 올랐다. 이 사진은 인정전 내부로, 임금이 앉던 어좌와 그 뒤의 일월오봉도 병풍이 보인다. 좌우에는 전등과 커튼도 보인다. 1907년 순종이 창덕궁으로 옮겨온 뒤 서양 문물이 더해진 것이다.

EnglishChangdeokgung is a Joseon dynasty palace built in 1405. Praised for the way its buildings embrace the natural terrain, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. This photo shows the interior of Injeongjeon, with the royal throne and, behind it, a folding screen of the sun, moon, and five peaks (Irwolobongdo). To the sides are electric lamps and curtains, added after King Sunjong moved to Changdeokgung in 1907.
