창덕궁 인정전

창덕궁은 1405년 지어진 조선의 궁궐로, 자연 지형을 살린 배치가 아름다워 1997년 유네스코 세계유산에 올랐다. 인정전은 창덕궁의 으뜸 건물로, 왕의 즉위식이나 세자 책봉, 외국 사신을 맞는 국가의 큰 행사가 열리던 곳이다. 이름에는 '어진 정치를 편다'는 뜻이 담겨 있다. 지금의 건물은 1804년에 다시 지은 것으로, 국보로 지정되어 있다.

Injeongjeon is the main hall of Changdeokgung, where major state ceremonies were held, such as the king's coronation and receptions for foreign envoys. Its name means 'governing with benevolence.'
