난중일기

-난중일기 난중일기는 일본의 침입으로 발발한 임진왜란(1592~1598) 때에 조선의 이순신 장군(1545~1598)이 진중에서 쓴 친필일기이다. 총 7책 205장의 필사본으로 구성되어 있다. 이순신 장군은 조선의 수군을 이끌고 참여한 모든 해전에서 승리하며 일본을 물리치는 데 큰 공을 세웠다. 일기에는 매일의 교전 상황뿐만 아니라 장군의 생각, 자작시 등이 수록되어 있다. -촬영 2017년 6월 DDP 전시

EnglishNanjung Ilgi is a handwritten diary kept by Admiral Yi Sun-sin (1545-1598) of Joseon during the Imjin War (1592-1598), which broke out when Japan invaded Joseon. It consists of 7 volumes with 205 pages in total. Admiral Yi Sun-sin led the Joseon navy to victory in every naval battle he fought, playing a major role in defeating Japan. The diary records the daily details of battles, along with the admiral's thoughts and poems he wrote himself. Photographed in June 2017 at an exhibition at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), Seoul.
